Ignition brings GDPR to Craggy Island

GDPR has been dragged onto Craggy Island and the surreal, chaotic and hilarious world of Father Ted – thanks to marketing agency Ignition’s creative and entertaining video presented at the An Post Smart Marketing Awards Ceremony.
As a nominee in the Agency of the Year category, Ignition had to develop a video to show to the Mansion House attendees at the award bash.
Ignition Director David O’Sullivan commented: “Given the focus on GDPR this month, we wanted to highlight the importance of its introduction and seriousness of its impact, against the humourous backdrop of how it might affect the surreal, chaotic and hilarious world of Father Ted, Dougal and Jack on Craggy Island.
“Using some of the favourite and most memorable sketches from Father Ted and editing them into a loose storyline, the comical GDPR visual references were intercut with the original dialogue. Hopefully people will enjoy being able to see it again.”
